Are all those leaves going to be gone?
Not all of them. Those fuzzy looking trees are called evergreens and Mom told me they have needles instead of leaves and they keep the needles during the winter.
Good. I would hate to have the world be all black and white in winter.

This tree reminds me of me because it’s such a pretty orange.
Here we are watching the leaves falling.
Mr Tree, if you keep dropping leaves Mom’s going to get mad. Please don’t give her more work to do. I promise I won’t try to climb you and hurt you with my claws.
I don’t think that’s going to help, Hemingway. Just look at all the leaves already on the ground. Then look at all the leaves still up in the trees. I think Mom’s going to be busy forever. We better hide or she’ll put us to work, too.

Wow! All the Autumn leaves are already falling where you are. The trees are only just begining to change right now here!
Whee like it this way though. When the leaves start falling, whee aren’t allowed on the grass because Mummy worries whee might eat a leaf that is bad for us. Sure, she picks grass and lets us eat it on the patio, but it’s not the same!

Mom doesn’t like us tracking in leaves so we try to be careful out there. Today it is really windy and there are a gazillion leaves on the ground now. We aren’t going to count them, but we think that’s a pretty close guess.
H & S: yur yard ROCKS !!!! N best of all, ya got burd free trees 🙂
But we have these furry little squirrels who think they own all of our trees. We just calmly sit and watch them and listen to all their noises.
It’s fun to play with the leaves, too!
