I bet you told Mom to do it. I was having such a beautiful morning. The sun was shining and I was watching the birds and squirrels. I was peacefully sitting in Mom’s bedroom window and I just knew it was going to be a fabulous day. Suddenly I sensed something terribly wrong. I turned around and her bedroom door was shut. OH NO!!!!! I remember when that happened to Hemingway and I sort of laughed. (That’s what little brothers are supposed to do!)
Yes you did laugh and all I have to say is turnabout is fair play!
I don’t know what that means but I do know that I wasn’t happy today. Luckily I spent most of the day sleeping on Mom’s bed or looking out her windows. When I heard her come home I started meowing right away so she would know my problem. I was so relieved when she opened the door.
You’re just lucky that she got out of work early and was home sooner than usual. When I got shut in her room I spent all day in there.
We’re going to have to come up with something to alert Mom when we’re hiding in her room.
That may be hard ‘cuz she seems to be so scatter-brained in the morning when she’s getting ready for work.
That’s not nice to say, but I sort of agree with you. I think this morning she was too busy thinking about having three whole days at home to play with us. Let’s go outside and see what she’s doing.
I’m interrupting my bath to wish all the mothers out there an incredible day. I hope you realize how very special you are.
I want to wish all the Moms special things today. Shakespeare and I don’t remember our real moms, but we sure remember our Mom who adopted us. We just hope all the Moms get lots of loves from their kids today.
We are spending lots of time outside with Mom today.
She keeps telling us to grab a rake and help her but we’re busy watching for anything that moves!
Well, my Friday was awful. It was the worst day ever. I can’t imagine having another Friday like this.
Oh, quit your whining!
I am not whining and I’m not going to look at you! Let me tell everyone what happened. Mom was getting ready for work and as usual, I was helping her. She wasn’t paying much attention to me and suddenly she was gone. Where was I? I was shut in her bedroom!!! I tried to get Uncle Bob’s attention but he wasn’t listening. So, I had to spend the WHOLE day in Mom’s bedroom. I didn’t have any toys, food, water or a little brother to chase. I was miserable. Mom apologized when she got home and saw what had happened. She knew something was wrong ‘cuz I wasn’t at the door to greet her. Then when she got to her bedroom, she noticed that I had pushed a few things under the door. I was just trying to let someone know I was in there!
I had a fabulous day. I could sleep anywhere. I could eat whenever. I could look out all the windows. I could play with all the toys. I was thinking maybe Mom shut you in her room as a present for me.
Don’t even think of asking for that for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, while Mom was at work I looked outside and that white stuff was falling again. Soon the ground was all white. I couldn’t get to the camera to take a picture so I had to do it after Mom got home. This is a picture of what’s left of the snow today. It just doesn’t look right. Oh, and the batteries the humans put in the sun were damaged and the sun doesn’t work again.
So, all in all it was a terrible day.
I think it was great and you can’t tell me what to tell Mom I want for Christmas! And don’t go picking on me tonight!
