This is my crabby face ‘cuz I’m crabby!

I bet you told Mom to do it. I was having such a beautiful morning. The sun was shining and I was watching the birds and squirrels. I was peacefully sitting in Mom’s bedroom window and I just knew it was going to be a fabulous day. Suddenly I sensed something terribly wrong. I turned around and her bedroom door was shut. OH NO!!!!! I remember when that happened to Hemingway and I sort of laughed. (That’s what little brothers are supposed to do!)
Yes you did laugh and all I have to say is turnabout is fair play!
I don’t know what that means but I do know that I wasn’t happy today. Luckily I spent most of the day sleeping on Mom’s bed or looking out her windows. When I heard her come home I started meowing right away so she would know my problem. I was so relieved when she opened the door.
You’re just lucky that she got out of work early and was home sooner than usual. When I got shut in her room I spent all day in there.
We’re going to have to come up with something to alert Mom when we’re hiding in her room.
That may be hard ‘cuz she seems to be so scatter-brained in the morning when she’s getting ready for work.
That’s not nice to say, but I sort of agree with you. I think this morning she was too busy thinking about having three whole days at home to play with us. Let’s go outside and see what she’s doing.
meowloz H & S!!! nice ta see ewe again. we think sum kittehs mom kneads ta bee handin out extree treetz and cookin up sum flounder for sum kittehs aza way oh sayin sorre boys !! hay enjoy yur weekend with yur mom, haz fun N due knot watch any stooooooooooid burds !!
We agree! She’s got all sorts of extra time this weekend so she can fix up some really good treats! We hope you have a fabulous weekend, too. 🙂
Getting locked in the bedroom is no fun! That happened to me once and I had to go to the litter box! Number 2! So I used the laundry basket in the closet. When the mom finally realized I was in the bedroom and let me out, she saw what I had done and said I was a very smart kitty. Well, of course I am!

The humans are just going to have to realize that we kitties are all smart!!! We think you were very clever in your predicament. We hope none of us ever get shut in our mom’s bedrooms again! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Sometimes my human locks Binga up in a room while I am eating so she does not steal my food. And sometimes she forgets to let Binga out when I am done. I like when that happens, MOL! I get a few extra minutes of peace.
Sometimes when we have too many wrestling matches, Mom will put us in separate rooms but that doesn’t really help. We’re guys and we like to wrestle!
Well, let’s see….how can we solve this problem guys? Bells on collars? No – that’s irritating….how about a SIGN on the inside of the door so she sees it before she leaves every day that says “MAKE SURE THE GUYS ARE NOT IN THE BEDROOM” ???? LOL 😀 😀
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Sammy….the sign is a great idea! Maybe we can get Quint the painting cat to make a sign for us. Or maybe we can get someone to remove the handle from Mom’s bedroom door so she can’t shut it. Have a great weekend!!! 🙂
First, we think you two should start storing some provisions in the bedroom for occasions like this. And how about a buddy system. We know it is tempting to have the whole house to yourself when one or the other of you is trapped in the bedroom, but whoever isn’t should be warning mom before she leaves that the other is missing. On the other hand, Sammy’s idea sounds pretty easy. Cooperations guys…that’s all it takes. A big thank you to all the kitties at The Cat on My Head!!! We actually were already taking your advice. HA! We had been taking some of our toys into Mom’s room when she wasn’t looking. Now we need to figure out how to sneak some snacks in there. Actually, Mom’s been pretty good about counting heads before she leaves now. Maybe she learned her lesson. 🙂
Whew! That was close! You might have been locked in there for days and days! Or maybe just 5 minutes which might as well be days and days when the door is shut!
We agree with you!!! Now we make Mom count us….one, two…..before she leaves!
Maybe you should have your own iPhone to call her when that happens so she can come back home in a hurry?
Purrs
We might have trouble with an iPhone. Hemingway’s feet are too big and I’m too impatient. 🙂
But there’s Siri! Although I’m not sure Siri understands cats…
