We have to thank our friend Sammy (http://onespoiledcat.wordpress.com/). He did a special rain dance and got rain at his house so we asked him if he could make his powers work long distance and he did!!!!
It’s been forever since we’ve had those wet drops falling from the sky. I’m really glad Sammy timed it to happen after we had our time outside today!
I wonder if our catnip is happy? I bet it was getting really thirsty. Mom……..as soon as the rain stops can you go get us some?

You two are so lucky. We only live four hours from Sammy, but no luck here with any rain! We had so much flooding in the spring, we never thought we would be praying for rain. Maybe Sammy will try again now that he knows his powers work long distance. We hadn’t had any rain for over a month and we had had a very wet spring as well. It’s good to have some rain at last! We hope you get some soon, too. Purrs and soft paw pats…..

WOW! I wasn’t sure my long-distance rain dancing efforts would pay off but it appears I needn’t have worried – SO glad you got some wet stuff…..let me know next time you’re parched….I’m working on some new moves in my dance routine!
