Shakespeare, what is your problem now?
When Mom got home from church yesterday, she let us outside to play.
I know. I was there.
Well, you went back in the house but the sun was shining so when Mom asked me if I wanted to go inside before she went to the store I told her, “No Way!”
And you found out that was stupid.
Who knew it was going to rain while she was at the grocery store? The sun was shining!!!
When I saw the drops falling outside, I stood by the door and giggled. I was nice and dry.
I still think it’s the fault of the weather person. Someone must have paid off the weather person in catnip, treats and toys. I’m going to find out who the guilty person or fur person is!! My beautiful tail is not meant to get wet.

I blame the weather person too. But it was also your human’s fault because I bet she knew something like this would happen.
Shakespeare here: Mom claims she didn’t know it was going to rain that soon ‘cuz the sun was shining. She said she rushed home as soon as she could and I guess I believe her ‘cuz she said she was sorry.
Hemingway here: Shakespeare had the chance to get in the house but he was stubborn so it’s still part his fault.
I hope your human ran back home to get you inside!

Hemingway here: Don’t let Shakespeare make you feel sorry for him. He could go under the deck or under the shed and he wouldn’t get wet. Besides, I know for a fact that he won’t melt! 😉
Awww it’s no fun getting wet. Our hooman remembers when whee were in our runs in the garden and it started raining. She took her coat off and put it as a cover over one run as she rushed two of us in and then came back for the other two. Whee weren’t impressed either!

I’m not crazy about getting wet either although I can stand a LIGHT shower if I absolutely must in order to get a bit of fresh air!

Sorry we’re so slow to respond. I think we must have fallen asleep for days!!! Mom says we’ve got more of that wet stuff coming so I guess we better plan on staying inside. She said she doesn’t mind the wet stuff but she really doesn’t like the white stuff and that will be coming before we know it. Have a wonderful weekend, guys! 🙂
