Mom couldn’t go to work today ‘cuz it’s too cold outside.
She disturbed our day!
She was running that noisy machine that sucks up stuff. We both were very careful to stay far away from it.
Then she was running that big machine downstairs that fills up with water. For some reason she throws her clothes in there…
…..and even our blankets!
Then she puts them in the other noisy machine that makes the clothes go round and round while hot air is blown on them.
So what did we do while she was making all this noise during our normal nap times?
I practiced some of my new kitty yoga moves.
I took a sun puddle nap and warmed my tummy.
Then I showed Mom my happy face ‘cuz I didn’t have to go outside.
Here’s what our cold winter sky looks like. We are so ready for spring! We hope all the fur people up here in the frozen tundra have a warm place to hide and lots of food to eat. Stay safe everyone.
Whee love your kitty yoga moves. The hoomans keep washing our blankets and snuggle beds too, and just when whee have got them stinking right!

They don’t seem to understand the value of “stinking right” blankies! 🙂
Did you jump in that nice warm laundry when it came out of the dryer. That’s what we like to do and would have done if that had happened at our house today. Stay snuggly, you two. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Of course we jumped in the laundry. That’s our favorite thing. We wait for Mom at the top of the steps when she brings things upstairs from that dryer thing. That’s the best!!!
Sometimes it’s nice when the human is able to stay home… but sometimes she just totally ruins your schedule!
So true! Today we have to ourselves and we’re just napping. 🙂
Well it looks like you guys spent your time well keeping warm in the sun and taking it easy…..same here….it’s too darn cold to go anywhere NEAR a door or window! Gotta feel sad about those who have no home when it’s like this….human or animal…..!
Hugs, Sammy
Sammy, we’re glad you have a great home and family to keep you safe.
