No, I won’t look at the camera. It wasn’t my fault. I blame it on my kitty traits! All of us were outside today enjoying the nice weather and sunshine. Mom found some fresh catnip growing so she got some for us. It was an awesome outdoors picnic. Then Mom was busy talking to the neighbor so I figured I better do my own hunting for more catnip. I was down in my “hidey corner” and Mom and the neighbor, and even the dog knew it. Suddenly I put my wings in motion and flew over the fence. Just as quickly Mom yelled at me and I flew right back over the fence into out yard. I could hear Mom and the neighbor laughing as Hemingway chased me into the house. Good grief humans………ever hear of curiosity???? I just wanted to see if the neighbors were growing catnip, too!

That’s a Really Big Dog!!!!
Hemingway, come look at this picture of a really big dog that Mom has on the computer!
That’s not a dog, that’s a horse!
But it’s got four legs and a tail so that’s like a dog.
That horse belongs to Mom’s friend. The horse’s name is Ruby. If you look carefully at the picture you will see what Ruby thinks of you calling her a dog! MOL!!!!!
What’s Happening???
Not too many days ago we were outside enjoying the sunshine and warmer temps. The birds were singing, the grass was turning green, some flowers were coming up………
Even our catnip was growing and Mom gave us some of it.
Now today it was gray, very windy, cold and then know what?
Those stupid white flakes started swirling around out there again!!!
Did Mom arrange this so we wouldn’t be so upset about staying inside while she goes and does that work thing?
Did the weather humans turn the wrong page on the calendar?
Whatever it is, we don’t like it. The only thing I didn’t like about playing outside the other day is that the stupid trees decided to start dropping things all over the place. When we walk outside, those sticky things get stuck in our fur
I’ve been having the same problem. Just look at my handsome foot! Those rude trees shouldn’t do stuff like that.
Flakes or sticky things? We’re not sure which is worse!
Hey, did Mom go get some more catnip yet? We don’t want to go out and walk in the sticky things.
Our World Got Turned Upside Down!!!
We’ve been gone a long time.
We’ve got lots of ‘splainin to do.
First of all, it’s not our fault.
Yep, we get to blame Mom again and this time it really is her fault.
Remember when we told you Mom was looking for a job? She tried to convince us to get jobs but we told her we can’t use the phone and we can’t drive the car to jobs so she kind of eased up on us.
However, we wanted her to get a job so she can keep buying us food, treats and toys! Did I mention treats??
Well, Mom now has a job. We’re all doing the Happy Dance.
Not exactly. Now Mom is gone all the time and that means our play time outside has been severely cut back. Just when the sun starts shining again and the temps get warmer, Mom goes and gets a job! Why wasn’t she working in the winter?
Quit complaining. She lets us out when she can. However, she has another problem. She went to see the human doctor man Friday night after work.
I’m glad she didn’t go see our doctor!
She came home with all sorts of meds and told us….
Wait, let me tell! She has bratwurtitist and red hot lungs.
Goof……..she has bronchitis and inflamed lungs. She told us she didn’t realize how sick she was. We heard her coughing and it sounded much worse than when we hack up a fur ball. We knew she was sick. Silly humans.
So, she’s on lots of meds now and she had to stay put this weekend. We got to play outside so we were happy.

Thanks for being patient while we tried to get Mom to turn on the ‘puter for us again. We hope to do a better job staying in touch, but we know Mom has to get better.

Yes!!!!!!!! New Toy Day!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom went shopping and surprised us with a new toy.
When we first looked at, we couldn’t figure out what was so neat about it.
Then she put treats in it and that sure got our attention.
However, when the thing started rolling around, we thought it was leaving little mouse droppings…….ick!!!
On closer inspection, we discovered it was the treats Mom had put in it!!!
