Mom said we should take time from our busy day of playing, eating and sleeping so we could say thanks to all the humans and fur people who have given so much so we could be free.
We are very grateful kitties for all that we have. We know that some kitties don’t have freedom and some humans are scared every day of their lives.
We may not understand what it is to serve in the military, but Mom tells us that some humans and fur people have died serving our country. Because they made such a big sacrifice, we live in a free country.
Thank you for the freedom to enjoy catnip every day.

You DO take your catnip seriously, S. As well you should. Mom took me to see our town parade. I was afraid of the drums and bagpipes and firetrucks, but I LOVED seeing all the scouts and little league teams marching by and waving at me.
