We’re still around.
We’ve been busy napping, eating, playing, going outside and bugging Mom.
You’ve been bugging Mom. I’ve been an angel!
Readers……..don’t believe him! He starts fights with me.
You start fights with me!
Whatever. We just wanted to let everyone know that we’re doing fine. Mom has been kind of struggling, however. Since she started her job where she has to sit lots she’s been having hip and back problems.
We try to make her chase us around the house as much as possible but we’re not doing enough.
So, after checking with her doctor she decided it was time to start her walking routine again.
We asked if we could go along but she told us we’re not allowed out of the back yard.
Mom’s been working hard and then she comes home and takes her walk and then fixes supper.
After all that, she’s worn out and we’re ready for naps.
So, even though we haven’t written much lately, we are still kicking! Hopefully things will get into a routine that we can all tolerate and Mom will let us write more. We miss all of you!
We really miss all the purrs, paw pats and funny stories!
I just have one question:
Does sleeping like this make me look like a “Wide Load”?
I’ll answer that………..

Hey, Hemingway. It’s definitely the camera angle…and don’t let Shakespeare tell you otherwise. 😉
I just knew Shakespeare didn’t know what he was talking about!
Sending purrs and prayers to your mom. Pain can be very debilitating, and we are so happy your mom is starting a routine to help herself. That is the most important thing. And “NO, you do not look like a wide load!” XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
We’ll let Mom know and thanks for telling Shakespeare he doesn’t know what he’s meowing about! (At least that’s the way we interpreted your comment….MOL)
Miss you kitties! Be extra cuddly with your mom. And purr lots. That’s bound to make her feel better. Your sleeping pose is lovely, by the way. Head bumps from the Three Black Cats.
Oh, thanks so much for the head bumps! We give those to Mom lots!!!
I think you look great, you just have floofy fur. 🙂 Tell your MOm she needs to move around every hour at work so she won’t get a blood clot. My hubby used to have an office job and he ended up with one- luckily, it was treated in time.
We’ll let her know. She actually has been moving around more at work and walks to the far end of the building during her breaks. She said the walking is becoming less painful as the muscles get stretched out again. Purrs….
My human walks (and does other exercise) a lot and she says it’s the only thing that keeps her sane.
Oh, if we can keep Mom sane that would be a very good thing. MOL!!!
Sitting around too much is not healthy. ….unless you’re a kitty…..or a doggie. Your mom is smart to take a walk after work. Maybe she’ll figure out a way to move around more AT work. Every hour, Mom’s AppleWatch tells her to stand up and get moving for a couple of minutes.
Love and licks,
Mom tells us that she wanders around visiting people on her breaks more now. it’s a big building so she wanders lots!
dood….noe wide load views heer….
hope yur mom iz doin aye oh kay…..it iz hard ta sit at werk all day az much as it iz ta stand all day……de food serviss gurls had both kinda jobz !! good two see ewe both again ~~~~~ heerz two a happee week a head with lotz oh FISH 🙂 ♥♥♥
oh boy…..fish!!! You guys always make us smile. We’ve missed you. We’ll try to hang around more. However……we heard rumors that Mom is going out of town again this weekend……..WITHOUT US!!!!
Congratulaitons to your mom on the new job, rat’s that she’s feeling soreness from sitting though. I’ve seen these workstations where the people actually run on a treadmill at their computers. Then mommy could skip her walk and just have play time 😀 I’ve been told if you turn your hip sideways and point a foot….errrr paw at the camera, that makes you slimmer, but I think you’re just adorable the way you are. Cheers B
Thanks! We’ll try that pointing the paw thing…….
