Mom wanted to take everyone on a tour of all the colors we have in our yard now.
You might ask why we aren’t taking you on the tour. Well, some of the things are in the front yard and we aren’t supposed to leave the back yard.
You do that all the time!
Don’t tell the readers that.
Anyway, here’s another reason we aren’t outside:
That first step is a doozie!!! Mom can’t even use the door now ‘cuz her legs are too short to navigate that route. Her brother tore apart the deck and is putting in a new one.
Yes, Mom is using the front door now and that scares us! We’re not used to having people we know come in that door. Of course we also have trouble going in and out the back door now, too!
So Mom wanted to show us what’s blooming in the yard. Here’s what she found.

Hey Mom……….why didn’t you take any pictures of our catnip????
Thank you for an interesting tour in your garden, beautiful flowers and many colours. I did not see you there, I think you were catnipping. Have a sunny weekend.
Kosmo, a cat in faraway Finland.
Kosmo, we wanted to be out there exploring but Mom said we couldn’t. With the construction on the deck and all the rain it’s pretty muddy out there. She said she was not going to be washing kitty feet!!
Hi there Shakespeare and Hemingway, we enjoyed the visit through your yard. Are you Canadian, by any chance? Us Canadians seem to make more fuss over flowers than our American cousins. Petunias seem to be a favourite of the nurseries here in BC. Mom loved your container gardens. zShe has yet to make ours up yet. It’s a stormin’ here this afternoon. The sky is black as my face! MOL Tomorrow will be soon enough for our transplants.
Your friends,
Shoko and Kali
Shoko and Kali, Mom says we’re not Canadian, but we live in Minnesota and that’s real close to Canada! Mom loves to have flowers blooming but she says it is getting harder as her body gets older. We’ll have to start helping by digging!
Your yard is ready for summer!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Mom says she’s been ready for summer since January!
Your flowers are beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us.
You’re welcome…..and thanks for taking the tour!
Thank you for the tour. Everything looks wonderful.
Thanks so much! Our catnip is growing, too! 🙂
Your garden is looking so pretty! I wish my human could do some of that… but she’s too lazy, plus she has no talent!
Our Mom says she just digs in the ground and puts the plants in and then it’s up to them to bloom. MOL!
You have a lovely garden with such pretty flowers and we love the hanging baskets too.
We’ll let Mom know you like her stuff. Thanks!
Your Mom’s flowers are really pretty! Can’t wait to see the new deck 🙂
Neither can we!!!
