9/11 Blog Hop

9-11

I wasn’t around for 9/11 but my Mom has told me about it.  She worked in the airline industry at that time and after 9/11 everything changed.  She said it was really hard on all the humans and the fur people and other critters.  Many lost those they loved.  Many were injured.  I feel bad about that.  I want to thank all the humans and the service animals who helped during that terrible time and continue to help now.  If we could all just take a deep breath and learn to get along, it would be much nicer.  I may be just a young squirt,  but I do have my ideas and thoughts and I want to thank you for reading them.

  1. Thank you Steinbeck for this stunning selfie and for your wise words. None of us are ever too old or two young to learn. Mom just watched a TV show about that fateful day and is having a hard time holding it together. She will pray for peace; though, she knows it will most likely remain only a dream. Thank you for hopping today. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    1. Mom said she wanted me to do the hopping ‘cuz I’m so young. Hemingway wasn’t around then either but she said I have fresh ideas. Whatever that means! Maybe if we all start dreaming about peace….it might just happen. Of course we also have to lend a helping paw and smile. 🙂
Tiny purrs to all of you! Steinbeck

  2. A mighty fine selfie Steinbeck……and we hope and pray that the world never has to go through something like that ever again. We hope the world realizes that the only way to keep going is IN PEACE.

  5. Nothing will ever be as innocent again Steinbeck. However, though things have changed, they can also be happy once again. All we need is, like you said, the world to take a deep breath. We could always try walking in the other person’s shoes…….that might help.
