Mom, Steinbeck and I watched the football game this afternoon and Mom did lots of yelling and cheering. She said Steinbeck has to get used to that if he’s going to be in the same room as her. Then she told me I could do the selfie today since I had a terrible day yesterday. Mom had to take me to see the doctor lady again. It seems my right away was all goopy and swollen. The doctor lady took a good look at it and checked things out and gave Mom eye drops to put in twice a day. I don’t mind those as much as the pills so it’s not too bad. The terrible part of my day happened next! She told the doctor to go ahead and clean and shave around my “pooper popper” area!!!! Can you imagine how embarrassed I was???? Mom said that since I’m kind of “chunky” I have trouble getting everything cleaned ‘cuz I have such long hair. Well, I won’t have problems now! I sure do feel cold drafts now!!!! MOL!!!! However, I’m feeling better and the eye drops are helping and now I get to post my selfie! Please ignore the stupid rose on top of my head. Mom likes purple roses and she thought it would be cute. Mom…….I’m a boy kitty!!!!!

Kosmo, it wasn’t much fun but Mom says it doesn’t look bad. I just didn’t know she was going to let them do that! I do like flowers and Mom knows that so I guess it’s OK to have the flower on my head.

Uhoh on the bun-trimming! However, you will get used to feeling the chill I’m sure….tee hee….glad you have some drops for your eyes – a cat has to see good so we can protect our households! The purple rose is just a bit – well – FEMININE but we know that you’re ALL MAN Hemingway so no worries!

Well it sounds like it was the best cure for a rather awkward subject. As to the rose, hmm maybe in another colour, pink say, that would work for me. I mean who would mess with a cat with a pink rose on their head. I know I wouldn’t. purrs ERin

Aaaaaaaaw Hemingway we think da purrple rose is cute. You’re still a very handsum and manly mancat, rose and all. Me’s little sis Raena has some eye troubles too. Everytime we think she’s well, here she goes with dat yucky goop again. And ya’ll must have different eye drops, cuz she hates hers. Mommy thinks they purrobably sting like visine does to humans. Anyways, we’s sendin’ purrayers. Hope you get all better soon.
