Mom brought in a new plant for me. Hemingway told me that when it starts getting cold outside she starts bringing in some plants and we get to prune them.
I did not say that! We are supposed to stay away from them.
Well, I find it rather interesting to explore these new toys.

Hemingway, I have another question. What happened to all the trees outside? Did all the rain make them rust? Why aren’t they green?
It’s fall, Steinbeck. The leaves around here change color in the fall.
I think they should be that color all the time.
I watched Mom taking this picture in the back yard when she got home from work. She said it would make a good jigsaw puzzle.

Wow, what a beautifully coloured tree for fall. Ours just go a pukey yellow. I see you have something that looks like an aloe vera plant. I hear they can be toxic to cats. Please check it out.

I don’t know how toxic it is and when I found out, I was shocked as the properties are so good for peeps skin but I guess maybe if they ate the plant, they’d have trouble too.

Shoko, Mom moved it away so neither one of us can get into it. Neither of us had been chewing on it so that was good. She did read up on it and she doesn’t want either of us getting sick. Thanks for cluing us in! 🙂
Mom says that is the most gorgeous tree ever! We don’t have any live plants in the house ’cause one of our predecessors would eat them, and Lisbeth is a flower muncher. Ginger trees! We know some cats who would like those… much like they LOVE jigsaw puzzles. We call those multi piece cat toys around here.
