It’s Over

Any of you who have little brothers are going to know what I’m talking about.  I’m really glad this being thankful thing is over.  Oh, don’t get me wrong.  Mom has taught me that we have lots of things to be thankful for and of course the most important is a family that loves us.  I do love my little brother and I’m thankful he’s part of our family, but just look what I have to put up with!!

Steinbeck, stay out of here.  I’m trying to have some “me time”.

No, I don’t think you’re being cute.  Go find your toys.

  1. Sorry, H. I think your me-time-days are over. That kids wants in – into your house, into your life, into your head, and into your heart. And he’s 99% of the way there already!!!

  2. My, my, this looks like Shoko and I over 7 years ago. She was a pain….always busy doing something to make me jump….then she’d run and hide behind mom. I sure know what you mean Hemingway.

  3. Dear Hemingway, you are a wise cat, you know you have to accept this little fellow, so it is easier just be friends with him, and, as you said, you will love him as a member of your family. And soon he will be an adult cat.
    Have a sunny weekend!
