I find it rather interesting that Steinbeck often shows so many characteristics of Angel Shakespeare. Of course Steinbeck is very much his own cat, but every now and then a little Shakespeare comes out. I love it!
Here’s an example. Both of them selected the top of the computer desk as one of their favorite spots for watching the world and napping.
Here’s Angel Shakespeare taking a nap:
Now here’s Steinbeck in the same spot:
Hemingway likes to get up there, too. However, he doesn’t do the “ginger pose”. He has his own way of sitting up there.
Mom had to go to that work place but we spent the day looking out the windows at the sunshine, the birds, and the squirrels.
Mom said she looked out the window lots today, too.
She said she wanted to be home with us so we could all play outside!
Mom finally got home, put Steinbeck’s vest on him and we all went outside in the warm air.
I didn’t stay outside very long ‘cuz there were all sorts of noises and I got a little scared.
I keep telling you to stick by me and I’ll protect you.
I know, but I’m still a kitten and there’s just too much stuff happening. If I’m not making the noise, I tend to get a little scared. However, I did go out for a little bit and Mom even brushed me.
Mom brushed me lots and lots. She keeps saying that she gets enough fur off me to make another kitty but I haven’t seen her do that yet!
Mom took some pictures for everyone to see.
I stopped to talk to the Copper Kitty and I decided that I’m lots cuter than he is. Besides, I get to sleep in a warm bed and he has to stay outside.Mom says our readers never get to see me with my eyes open. She took this picture while I was inside and she was outside. She says I have very pretty eyes, but whenever I see the flashy box, I close my eyes. Mom fooled me this time!
Mom said it’s my turn for the selfie, so here goes. First I had to figure out where the flashy box was. Mom always hides it from us. I finally found it but I didn’t know how to use it. I asked Hemingway and he wouldn’t tell me. He kept saying that I would just get in trouble. How’s a little guy supposed to do a selfie if nobody helps?
Here’s what I finally came up with.
In case you’re wondering, I was looking for the button to push for the selfie. I never did find it so I don’t know how this picture happened!!! Spooky things seem to happen around me.
I told my friends I would remind all of you to check out their pictures on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. They all did great!!!
This is the picture Mom started with. That’s a bird bath she has had for a lot of years and I consider it my personal drinking fountain!
Now here’s what she did with it.
She used LunaPic for all of her “playing”. First she added the Fairy Art Effect and then she added the Water Filter. Finally she added a frame and it’s ready to be hung in the museum! MOL!!
Check out what our other friends created on Athena’s Blog Hop.
I joined the Kickstart Fund for these beautiful pieces of “furniture” last year. I was hoping the boys would get this for Christmas. However, there were production problems and all sorts of other things, but the makers kept working and I finally got this today. It is from Feline Innovations and it’s great. (I did not get paid to endorse their product. I just really like it.) Of course my big boys are too big for the hammock, but they still found ways to use it. Both of them had more fun investigating and claiming ownership. Of course we had some slappy paw dances going on as well. Enjoy the pictures of Hemingway and Steinbeck and their “new toy”.
Yesterday morning I had eaten a good breakfast, made sure all my furs were in place, settled down in a comfortable position to wait for Mom to leave for work, when……….
Here I am! Can I lie down by you? Can we measure and see who’s longer? Did you enjoy breakfast? Is Mom going to that work thing again? What are we going to do all day? Are you listening to me?
Humans, do you see him over there? He’s right next to me!! He’s pretending to be good but he just asked elebenty billion questions!
Mom!!! Hemingway is ignoring me!! Again!!!!!
Hemingway! Pay attention to me!!!At least my toys will listen to me. I love my toys!!!
