I find it rather interesting that Steinbeck often shows so many characteristics of Angel Shakespeare. Of course Steinbeck is very much his own cat, but every now and then a little Shakespeare comes out. I love it!
Here’s an example. Both of them selected the top of the computer desk as one of their favorite spots for watching the world and napping.

Hemingway likes to get up there, too. However, he doesn’t do the “ginger pose”. He has his own way of sitting up there.

Love it! We have that same kind of thing happening here with Teddy – up to and including Teddy’s favorite toy out of zillions of toys being Sammy’s old favorite toy. Favorite napping spots too – I like it – feels like our Angels are guiding the “new kids on the block” doesn’t it?!
