It’s cold. It’s rainy. Steinbeck is sleeping. Mom wants to sleep but she’s cooking. I just want to dream the day away. Hurry up Mom! All three of us can snuggle.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Mom said she had a terrible drive to work.
Come on, Mom! We all know it wasn’t that bad! That’s not even where we live!
We have the perfect solution for your problems.
We’ll even make sure your alarm clock is turned off.
Mom took one of her favorite pictures of me and changed it all over the place.
Here’s what she started out with:
I was keeping the dirt warm in the flower box on the garage. I knew she wanted to plant some pretty flowers there.
Here’s what happened:
Happy Earth Day, everyone!

Mom was super excited tonight when she got home! She doesn’t have to set her alarm tomorrow morning.
Don’t worry, readers……we will make sure she gets up extra early to feed us.
Don’t you mean that you’ll wake up Mom? You’re the one who always has to try and wake her up around 4am.
Well, you walk all over her in the middle of the night purring. Anyway, after supper tonight Mom took us both outside for some brushing.
I got brave and even walked under the deck when Mom wasn’t looking! I just had to see what was under there ‘cuz Hemingway kept checking things out. Know what I found? Lots of dirt and stuff. So much for the brushing, Mom!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday night.
We should be dancing!!
Steinbeck, you don’t know how to dance. All you do is run around.
So? It’s Friday night and I’m HAPPY!!!
We were calmly blogging away, sharing pictures with our friends and chatting about the crazy things humans do.
Then it was dead silence. Nobody heard from us. Where did we go?
We didn’t go anywhere, but Mom sure did. She had a super busy week (or so she says) and she didn’t remember to turn the puter on for us. You just can’t count on humans.
Mom said she had to practice singing again. Won’t she ever get it right? She has been practicing and practicing for years and they still make her practice more. I would think they would have given up on her by now.
I was busy exploring things and getting into trouble because I had too much time on my paws. However, there was one day I was a little angel. That was on Good Friday. I had no idea what that day was but I figured it was the one day of the year I was supposed to be good. I did my part and now I’m ready for mischief!
Mom………..I think I hear some mischief calling my name outside.
Steinbeck, look at how big your tummy is!
MOM……….Hemingway is picking on me again!!!!
What????? I didn’t do anything.
From the Mom: Sorry we’ve been missing, but things got a little hectic for me. Obviously the boys found stuff to do. We all had a very nice Easter and they got to spend some time outside. Hopefully we’ll be able to meet you in the blogging world more often now! I’ll close this with one of my favorite pictures of Steinbeck.
Just call me Mr. Casual.
Humans sure have some crazy ideas!! Mom thought it would be cute for me to wear her hat from work for the selfie today. Believe it or not, that’s me under the hat!
Of course someone else had to get into the act, too!!!
Mom had to take it away from him before he put his “beaver impression” tooth marks all over it!

Howdy readers!!! It’s a gorgeous spring day around these parts and I’m going to just relax. I told Steinbeck he could be the Caturday Art today. He napped while Mom worked on his picture.
It started out like this:
Then Mom went to LunaPic to do all sorts of funky things. She used an Emboss filter, then used Floating art and finally added Glitterize for the animation. So, here’s the final result:
Mom thinks Steinbeck looks rather angelic in this picture. I think he just looks silly. MOL! Well, what do you expect a big brother to say?

Have a great weekend, everyone!!!
It’s a lovely spring day here. While Mom was at that working place, Hemingway and I just lounged around admiring our toes!
Here’s a picture of the front of my toes. See that chewed spot by my foot? I was trying to hide that. Mom said that’s some of my beaver-wanna-be work. She says I’m really good at it.
Here’s my cute pink foot pad. See the little tufts of fur?
Here are my pink toes with my fluffy tail and more toe tufts.
Good grief, Steinbeck. Do you really think our readers are interested in your body parts?
M…O….M!!!! Steinbeck is sticking out his tongue again!!!
