Happy Fourth of July

Hemingway, this is my first 4th of July with you and Mom.  I’m so glad I’m here where I feel safe.

We have lots of humans and service animals to thank for our freedom.  We need to raise our paws in the air and salute them for all the work they do.

And while our paws are up, we should pray for their safety.

We’re sending glitter to all the service humans and animals who have fought for our country……and for those who continue to fight and will fight in the future.  You’re very sparkly in our eyes!

Hemingway, you missed a spot.  Don’t worry, I’ll get it for you.  We must look bright and shiny for the Fourth!

From the Mom………It seems the boys are sleeping now.  Luckily they don’t have to be outside listening to all the boomers tonight.  We all wish our readers a safe and happy Fourth.  May the fur people find a safe place so the boomers don’t scare them.

  1. You two are just like fireworks. You are so sparkly. Good job helping Hemingway get clean, Steinbeck. Have a safe and quiet 4th. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  2. I hope you guys had a good Fourth! The humans went out to a party briefly, and my human turned the a/c on high and left the TV on while they were gone (stupidly, she forgot to leave it on Animal Planet). But they were back before it got too dark, and really, our neighborhood is actually pretty quiet compared to most.

  3. I am glad Hemingway and Steinbeck have a good home and don’t have to be afraid. And may the rest of us live in freedom and peace. Hope your 4th was good.

  4. Sweet photos of your “pre-4th” bath fest boys! Our local boomers were cancelled due to thunderstorms through here although the Washington DC ones went off anyway. Happily we are an hour outside of town and didn’t hear a THING except rain!

    Love, Teddy

Purrs, meows, barks, chirps and human comments are greatly appreciated. We love hearing from our readers.
