Theme Song

Here’s my new song that I made up in honor of my new best buddy.  Please sing it to the tune of “Me and My Shadow”.  Mom taught me that song!

notes

Me and my green bean

Playing through the night and day

small me and my bean

Me and my green bean

No one better take him away.

small my bean

And when it’s time to eat

He hides away

I rush to eat

And then back to play.

  1. Steinbeck, you are a goof, but oh so cute. Did you finally eat your green bean or just play with it? XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  2. Wow, that first picture almost looks like you are playing your green bean like a clarinet ! What a useful toy !

  3. Golly Steinbeck, I never thought about having fun with a green bean but it looks like a great “friend” to me! I’m gonna see If Mom will give me one next time she’s making beans. Thanks for the idea…………

    Hugs, Teddy

  4. Fun song. Green beans are a blast. Once I had a green bean. I chewed it, spit it out, chewed it, spit it out, chewed it, spit it out and on and on till it was just a wet green blob on the rug. Mom called me the name of Genius. I was very proud.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  5. It looks like you’re playing gently with your green bean, Steinbeck: it’s in great shape! If only the cats here would take such good care of their friends.

Hemingway, aren’t you enjoying your break while Steinbeck is busy with his green bean?

Purrs, meows, barks, chirps and human comments are greatly appreciated. We love hearing from our readers.
