I sang it loud like when I do the song of my people. MOL! Hemingway said he didn’t want to join in with my off-key singing. However, he wishes Allie a very happy birthday, too.

Mom said I could do the Caturday Art today. This picture is from the other day when we were all outside playing. I’m doing my spring dance step.
Mom played around with it and got this. She used LunaPic and first she embossed it and then she added some tattoo art effects.

Mom was laughing at me tonight. She and I were sitting in the front room watching a little TV. No, I have no idea where Steinbeck was. He was probably running through the house like a mad cat, messing up all the rugs.
Anyway, back to me. I had been sitting on Mom’s lap and we had been discussing the day. Then I jumped down so I could roll on the floor and show her my tummy. (She always likes to give me tummy rubs.)
Suddenly I saw a shadow go by the front window! I sat up and growled!!
That’s when Mom started laughing. She told me I had been spending too much time with the dogs who live behind and beside us. She told me I was a kitty and not a dog. Duh! I know that! Silly human.
I paid no attention to her. I slowly walked over by the front door so I could look outside and see what made the shadow. I growled some more and Mom laughed some more.
Then she finally got up and went to look. Turns out a Boy Scout (not a Cat Scout) had left a flyer on the outside door handle and I could see it flopping around in the wind so even though no humans were at the door, I still had to growl. You just never know what that piece of paper might do!
So I ask you…………don’t you all think Mom should be ashamed for laughing at her very own black and white alarm system?? How many other humans have such a unique thing in their house????
I rest my case……….and my body!
We’ve been kind of quiet this week. First of all, we got hit by a blizzard last weekend. Can you believe it? We didn’t have any blizzards all winter and then in April, here comes a blizzard. It just doesn’t seem right.
Now we’re finally getting some spring weather. Hemingway and I spent a lot of time out on the deck with Mom yesterday. We’re hoping to do the same today. We can hear birds singing and kids yelling and dogs barking and all sorts of things.
Here’s my selfie for the day. I wasn’t sure that Spring was really out there so I wasn’t sure I wanted to go outside.
Thanks to all our buddies who talked to Spring and told her to head to our house!

For those of you who don’t know, we got hit with another winter storm over the weekend and got over a foot of new snow. There will be mountains of snow all over the place until July! Mom is really fed up and she keeps mumbling things about Hawaii. We don’t know what she’s talking about, but we’re thinking she’s not happy with the weather people right now.
So, here’s what I think about all this snow and cold:

WOW!!! You won’t believe what we are living through this weekend.
The angels opened all their bags of powdered sugar and flour and dumped it on us!
We don’t know why they got so upset. We didn’t do anything.
Looks like we’re going to be inside until July.
This was Friday night when Mom came home.
This is what that same area looked like this morning. We’ve had close to a foot of snow already and more coming. We also have a blizzard warning and it’s the middle of April!!!

Mom says she’s not going outside at all tomorrow. Even her church cancelled the services. People and fur people are supposed to stay put.

Mom said I could use my selfie today. I’ve been looking for Spring for days and days. She’s so lost she may never find us! If anyone sees Spring, please tell her to come visit us. We need her!!!

It’s been melting a little around here. It’s still cold and there’s still plenty of white stuff out there, but here’s an update.
See……..the snow and cold didn’t hurt Mom’s flowers. She says they are very stubborn and just won’t let winter get them down.
Mom says she wishes she were a crocus or a tulip ‘cuz this winter is kind of getting her down.
Here’s one of the stained glass yard art pieces without the snow. Isn’t that rainbow pretty. It has a solar light in it so if the sun shines, then it lights up at night.
I like to look at it out the window.
Here we are waiting for Mom to come back inside.
She said she doesn’t want us going out ‘cuz the deck is wet and we’ll get all messy.
We think she just doesn’t want us looking to see if the catnip is growing yet.
