Happy “Sun” Day, everyone. I’ve been spending time outside in the sunshine today. Steinbeck decided it was too windy so he stayed inside. I stayed outside watching the birdies, the squirrels, and the doggies walking by. I had a grand old time. I decided to go with my “Jungle Kitty” shot for my selfie today. I hope you like it.
Here’s the original:
Here’s what Mom turned it into using LunaPic:
Don’t forget to check out what our other friends did at the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

Both versions are spectacular. The second is very fall-flavored. We are having wind here as well. At least it isn’t too bad on the catio. Glad you enjoyed your outside time. Winter is just around the corner. Thanks for hopping with us. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Thank you. Mom says she really likes the original one ‘cuz I look very regal surrounded by green. I was actually in the middle of a mock orange bush and Mom had to do a bit of twisting and turning to find me!

We like both your pictures, Hemingway. It warmed up enough today with the sun shining that we got to go for a walk. Yay! Lucy and Xena
That’s really exciting. I know I’m going to be stuck inside for months once winter hits so I like to get out when I can.

What a great selfie, Hemingway. And it made for some great art!
Thanks. Mom likes it, too. 🙂
Regal purrs……….Hemingway
I like both. The second is pretty with the fall colors.
Mom said she likes both, too. She said I do a real good job of posing. 🙂

This is a very nice selfie, and you pose superbly!
Thank you very much!

I love the fall colors in your arty selfie, Hemingway!
Thank you. I look like the forest. 🙂

Wow, those are so very different and yet each equally as captivating. We like them both, the second so ethnic. i was wondering if there were mouses in the second style image, would they taste all spicy and as exotic as the image looks?

Hmmmmmmmm……I never thought of that. However, there were no mousies around.

It’s been super windy here too Hemingway but I braved it and went outside to get some sun. I found a good spot behind a big tree so the wind couldn’t get me but the sun could. YAY! Love your photos….both of them!
Hugs, Teddy
Teddy, sometimes we have to be creative when we go outside. I’m brave but Steinbeck is younger and he gets scared.

Good thing Steinbeck has a BIG brother!
I keep telling him that! 🙂

Did you see any kitties in strollers out on your walk? I love my stroller rides and have had nothing but positive things to say about it except when the walks are too long. Notice that I am trying to promote kitty walk so humans will not think my mom is silly!
Luvz, Patzy
We don’t think your mom is silly at all! She’s getting exercise and you’re getting fresh air. It’s a win-win situation. We bet you look adorable on your walk.

Thank you. Some people are surprised, some think i am a dog and some kids don’t get it. They ask me why my cat just won’t walk beside me like a dog? But it is interesting to inform them about how much safer she is in the stroller. And she really seems to like it! Except the up and down the steps part. We might have to install a ramp,
Mom has told us that when she was younger, she had a kitty who loved to go for rides in the basket of her bike. Mom put a towel in there and Dixie would jump up and go riding with her. Neither of us have ever tried doing that.
Stereo purrs……….Hemingway and Steinbeck
Very cool! Mommy thinks I might jump out of something like that if I was startled though. So she zips me up in the stroller and I feel safe that way.
I guess when your mommy was younger there weren’t as many cars around to scare her kitty at that time.
Mom said Dixie loved it and wouldn’t try to jump out…even if she saw doggies. She was such a good kitty.

There are a lot of exceptional special cats out there?
So true!
Thank you. We are lucky to live in the city with sidewalks and the streets are in a grid pattern. We can walk for a mile and only be two blocks away from home by going up one street and down the next and then switching it up. That way if I get grumpy we can be home lickity splitly. MOL
That’s a great plan. Sounds like you are really happy with the routes.
It’s only the tilting to get up and down the curbs that gets tiresome. Some streets have the ramp type of curb for bikes and such but a lot of them don’t since my neighborhood started in the early 1900’s. Our house was built in 1925! There are still loops to tie up your horses on a lot of the streets.
That’s cool. I bet you could tie up doggies to those loops. MOL!!! Mom has trouble sometimes going up and down those curbs so she knows what you mean.
Stereo purrs………..Hemingway and Steinbeck
That would be too funny, dogs tied to the curb! MOL
