Have you missed us?
We were forced to take a bit of a vacation ‘cuz our human didn’t seem to have time to operate the old computer thing.
We’re hoping she’s back to somewhat normal so we can chat with our friends again.
How have all of you been? Are you sick of winter like we are? We had so much white that we thought for sure the angels spilled all the flour sacks in heaven.
Lately they’ve been turning on all the lights and leaving the oven door open so some of that white stuff has been melting.
Mom even let us go outside tonight when she got home from the work place.
Hey Mr. Outdoor Cat, look at me!!! I’m actually outside. Have I missed out on much?
Hemingway, who are you talking to? Is it safe to come outside yet?
Well, on this side of the deck there’s still lots of that white stuff.
And on this side there’s lots of water with leaves floating around.
I think you better stay inside, Steinbeck. You get scared too easily.
That’s what you think, Hemingway. Look, I have two feet outside!!!
What about the other feet?
They’re staying nice and dry and warm inside.

Oh, thank you. That’s so nice to hear. We’ve told Mom if she has to skip sleep to help us with our blog, well, then that’s what she’s going to have to do.

Today wasn’t a very nice day. It was windy and cold and the sun forgot to shine. We’re hoping for better days on the weekend.

Welcome back boys! Winter is slowly melting away into Spring – today is the start (we hope) of higher temps here in our area. We’ll be in the fifties with sixties this weekend. All our snow is gone. Soon yours will be and you can enjoy your deck again!

Teddy, we can enjoy the deck now but we can’t jump off the deck ‘cuz of all the white stuff and water. We need some sunny warm days all in a row. However, Mom said there’s lots of flooding going on so maybe we should wish for cloudy cool days. We just don’t know what to do!!!

It’s tough isn’t it – so much flooding because of so much rain and snow……I think it’s best to just WAIT INSIDE and watch the world go by for while until Spring settles in!
Well, we waited as long as we could but the sun was out over the weekend and all of us decided to spend some time on the deck. It was marvelous!!!
We have to go out in the wet to do our busyness. Be glad you have other potty arrangements! Xena and Lucy
