Actually, Mom already is the Crazy Cat Lady but we love her for that. Steinbeck picked out this picture ‘cuz he wanted me to get in trouble.

Steinbeck, this post is not about you This is about Mom and her birthday. She’s even spending the day with us instead of going to that work place.
She’s been kind of interrupting my naps, but that’s OK. Is she going to have catnip cake?
I don’t know. Let’s tell the people what Mom did for her birthday over the weekend.
You mean when she left us home all alone with nobody to talk to?
Steinbeck, quit whining. You know her brother was here to feed us and take care of us.
Oh yeah………..I forgot.
Mom’s trip to Alexandria, MN let her see and do some of her favorite things.
There were the flowers:
Mom said all these flowers were in her girlfriend’s yard. She thought they were so pretty.
Then she also got to see some dead buildings. I still don’t know why she gets so fascinated with them. It must be a human thing. The only reason I might like a dead building is if there were mousies in there.
Then there was shopping at Country Consignments.
Mom said she had a great weekend even though she didn’t take us with her.
I’m kind of glad she didn’t ‘cuz I don’t like riding in the car.
Believe me, we ALL know that. You sing so many songs of your people that you should go hoarse.
I am not a horse!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR MOM! Nice of you to allow her to have a weekend of fun with her friend to celebrate HER birthday. My Mom loves the purple ‘tunia with white splashes on it! She also is a fan of dead buildings and like you, I think that’s a bit weird. Mom used to draw and paint dead buildings all the time. Yuck. Well boys, enjoy having Mom back but be glad she had a GREAT TIME.
