Long ago and far away we had a human who listened to us and wrote down what we were saying……….and/or thinking.

What do you mean?  Mom’s still here.

Yes, but she sure has gotten lazy in her old age.

Well, it’s true that she doesn’t spend as much time playing with us as we would like…….and sometimes our supper is late ‘cuz she’s stuck at that work place.

That’s it!  The work place thing.  It’s taking all of her energy!!!

Wonder if we could do anything to help.

Mom doesn’t mumble things about us getting jobs whenever she has to go buy our foodies.

I don’t want to get a job.  It’s cold outside and I don’t want to go there.  Besides, I know she wouldn’t let us drive her car.

Of course not……..we can’t even see over the dashboard and I’m not real sure which pedal is which and how long you have to hold them down.

Could we get one of those jobs where you do things at home on the computer?

She’s not going to leave the computer on for us.  She doesn’t now and I don’t see her changing her tune about that at all.

She’s singing???  I know she keeps practicing to sing.

Sigh…………

  3. Awww! Best of all is knowing you are OK and complaining! Means you want to return to something you enjoyed doing. Mom probably wishes she’d win the lotto so she could, too. That “going to work” business puts Greenies on the plate, so to speak, so you need to understand it is necessary. Skitches and new boxes to you, sweet kitties! Especially the skritches!

  4. Well it’s great you two are still enjoying life even if we don’t hear from you that often…..We could NEVER forget you two! Hopefully your Mom will not have to work this hard forever! Hang in there……you do look like you’re having fun and getting in your naps – priorities are still the same even with Mom not at home.

    1. Oh Teddy, we do manage to have fun. Mom does play with us, but just not as much as she would like. We’re so happy that you still remember us. You have a fabulous day……..and your mom, too!

  5. Moms can be wily and tough to pin down. As long as the foods, treats, and cuddles keep coming, you’ll be OK. Also, there is no shortage of gorgeous models over there!

  9. We are glad you two are ok/ Maybe Mom can get into a routine that gives here a bit more time. Work is very tiring for us humans ! But it’s how wer pay for your kitty food !

    1. It took us a long time to get her into the routine of feeding us when she’s supposed to! MOL!! I don’t think we have the strength or patience to train her in anything else.
