Well, isn’t it because of the pandas that we all had to stay home for the last year?
No.
Well, isn’t it because of the pandas that Mom has to wear a mask whenever she goes out?
No.
Well, what have the pandas done?
The pandas haven’t done anything. You’re getting it all mixed up. It’s not Panda Mess; it’s called a pandemic. It’s a virus that humans can easily catch and it’s pretty dangerous. Mom has already had her first shot and next week she gets her second shot.
Do we have to get shots, too?
Do you go to the grocery store, or to concerts, or out to eat?
You know I just go out in the back yard.
Then I think you’re safe. Now will you please let me get a little nap time in? Mom’s busy “working” at her office over there and as soon as she finishes, I want to remind her that I’m hungry.

Such a clever post. Our mom is one of the hugest Panda fans on the planet, and she would hate if they were at fault when it came to this nasty pandemic. She and our dad have had both their vaccine shots. We are happy your mom will be getting her second soon. Cupcake, are you taking more naps with your mom? I know we are!
My human got her first shot last week – the hospital where we do therapy visits agreed to vaccinate volunteers! Her second is on April 5.
I hope this means we can go back to visits sometime in the not terribly distant future.
Mom says it would be so nice to visit friends again.
HAHAHA…..it’s easy to get confused by this whole thing with the PANDADEMIC (haha). Happily pandas are not involved and people are getting vaccinated so we hope soon we can move on in HEALTH.

Pandas! I LOVE Pandas. I wonder if they stink as bad as the bear that was in the backyard 2 nights ago! I do know the Pandemic stinks too! And I hate vaccines but Mom is sure looking forward to hers.
We’ve never had bears in our back yard. Mom says she thinks pandas are super cute. We told her not to get one. She has enough to take care of with the two of us. MOL!!!
