Hi everyone! I got to put my art in here today. It’s a very cold day and it’s white outside so I changed the colors. I hope all of you have a warm weekend. If you think about it, turn on your ovens and fans and point them in the direction of Minnesota. Mom says we have no temperature here!!!

Mom said it’s been forever since we’ve participated in this blog hop and it’s time! She said I could be the model today. Here’s what Mom and I came up with to provide you with some special art for the day.

Mom let us go out on the deck over the weekend and I talked to Mr. Outdoor Cat. Then I walked around and checked out the property. Of course I could only walk on the deck ‘cuz there was still some of that white stuff and some wet stuff around. I wasn’t about to get my feet wet!! But, guess what…………Hemingway walked off the deck and into that white stuff. He obviously lost his mind. I got rather angry with him ‘cuz I just knew he was going to bring those wet cold feet into the house.
Well, getting angry was a BIG mistake. Mom was standing on the deck looking at Hemingway and I just had to tell her how angry I was. I looked at her and hissed and spitted. She just looked at me and told me to knock it off. You mean I shouldn’t be mad about what Hemingway was doing?
I don’t get it. Now she’s calling me Mr. Crabby Apple Pants again. I don’t think that’s a proper name for me.
Nope, I haven’t been outside since. Mom says I can’t get angry. Oh well……….
The fire is going, the sky is gray, the leaves are still falling. It’s the perfect day for a nap!

Mom used me for Caturday Art today. I was calmly sitting in the doorway watching Hemingway wander around on the deck. Suddenly there was a bright flash and I heard Mom saying, “Oh Steinbeck, you kept your eyes mostly open. Good boy!”
Then she started playing around with it and ended up with this!
I think I look kind of spooky but that fits for Halloween. MOL!

Mom had this picture of me that she wanted to use. She said I look rather grumpy.
I guess maybe I was. I had been watching the birdies and someone called my name. I hadn’t done anything wrong so I didn’t know why anyone was calling me. Turns out Mom just didn’t know where I was since the blinds were shut to keep the heat out.
Here’s what Mom did with the photo.
Of course she used LunaPic to “dress up” the photo. She said she did something real simple this time. She just used the splash art effect and then added rounded corner. My eyes still look a little grumpy but I like all the colors.
