I hope you enjoy the Fourth of July and that the boomers don’t scare you!
Don’t forget to check what our other friends are doing on the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.
Finally. At long last. I never thought it would get here!
This is me the day Mom chose me to be her new kid. I was two months old and I wanted a furever home. Mom got me at the Animal Humane Society, which is where she got Hemingway and also Angel Shakespeare. Funny thing is, we all came from different locations!
Fast forward ten months and this is me now. I am officially ONE YEAR OLD!!!! Mom says I’m a big boy now. Maybe she’ll even let me date!
Last night when I went to sleep I wasn’t one, but today I am! I’m so happy!!! What a glorious day!
Happy Birthday, Steinbeck, from Mom and me. We both hope you have a super fantastic day.
Thanks Mom and Hemingway. I love you both. Now, let the party begin!! Bring on the catnip martinis.
Come on people……sing with me! Today is my birthday celebration! I’m now three months old!!! That may not sound like much to you, but to me it’s LOTS!!!
A voice in the distance asks, “Does anyone know what today is?”
I do!!! I do!!! See….I’ve got my hand in the air! Well, if I wasn’t so tired and I was actually sitting up, my hand would be in the air. Can’t you just use your imaginations?
I’ve got my hand…er foot…..in the air, too! I know what day it is!
I’m going to make sure that everyone in computer land knows what day it is, too. Now how do you spell catnip?
I think I’ll wrap the gift in this paper. Isn’t it pretty?
I wonder what else has been in this bag? Was there maybe some catnip in here? Maybe I should keep this bag for myself.
Shakespeare, we haven’t told the readers what today is.
It’s Mom’s birthday!!!
I wanted to tell them.
You were taking too long.
Well, we both want to tell you to have a very Happy Birthday, Mom and we love you!!!
By the way, you can have the cake, but will you give us some tuna water to help you celebrate your birthday????
