It’s my turn to be in the spotlight. The little one keeps hogging all the blog time. So, Mom said I could be the Caturday Art subject today. I think the red sets off my black furs very nicely. Of course it looks like my one eye is kind of funky so I still have things to learn about art!

I told her to add some sparkles to the picture so I look even cuter! Actually, it sort of looks like I’m reaching for the stars! You can see some other Tummy Rub kitties at Katzenworld.
Mom, Steinbeck and I watched the football game this afternoon and Mom did lots of yelling and cheering. She said Steinbeck has to get used to that if he’s going to be in the same room as her. Then she told me I could do the selfie today since I had a terrible day yesterday. Mom had to take me to see the doctor lady again. It seems my right away was all goopy and swollen. The doctor lady took a good look at it and checked things out and gave Mom eye drops to put in twice a day. I don’t mind those as much as the pills so it’s not too bad. The terrible part of my day happened next! She told the doctor to go ahead and clean and shave around my “pooper popper” area!!!! Can you imagine how embarrassed I was???? Mom said that since I’m kind of “chunky” I have trouble getting everything cleaned ‘cuz I have such long hair. Well, I won’t have problems now! I sure do feel cold drafts now!!!! MOL!!!! However, I’m feeling better and the eye drops are helping and now I get to post my selfie! Please ignore the stupid rose on top of my head. Mom likes purple roses and she thought it would be cute. Mom…….I’m a boy kitty!!!!!

Mom said that since Steinbeck has been ruling the blog lately, I get to put my selfie up today. Here it is. I’m sitting in the yard pondering what I did to deserve a two-pound bundle of constant energy making me exercise! Of course Mom had to play around with my selfie and make it all strange.

From the Mom: I can’t begin to put into words what all the words of encouragement, sympathy and the prayers mean to me. I am so overwhelmed with the overflowing of love from the fur people lovers around the world on the blogosphere. Hemingway and I are trying to get over the shock. I think he is still wondering what happened to Shakespeare. I didn’t let him see the body ‘cuz he didn’t need to see that. It was hard enough for me to see it and to carry it home.
However, I do have some good news. This morning I went to the Animal Humane Society and got a new little buddy.
Meet Steinbeck, Hemingway’s new writing partner.
I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures but we just got home a little bit ago and I wanted to post something to make people smile. I will be changing the design but Hemingway and Steinbeck will keep blogging. I know little Steinbeck is very anxious to meet all the wonderful humans and fur people who loved Shakespeare so much.
Again, my heart is just full and overflowing from all the love I received during this time. It may be a bit before I let the boys blog ‘cuz I haven’t been sleeping and I’m just running on fumes now. However, be patient ‘cuz I want you all to get to know this little “fireball”.
