Spring Came…and Stayed!!

Brotherly LoveHey everyone, we have spring here and it’s been wonderful.  That’s why you haven’t heard from us.  We’ve all been outside playing and working and enjoying all that fresh air.  That makes us really tired so we’ve been napping lots.

I like to go outside to be brushed.  Mom puts my furs on the log pile and then birdies come and take it for their nests.  I think that’s really neat. Now that it’s getting warmer, I have too many furs anyway, so I will gladly share.

Poor Mom has been working like crazy in the yard and she’s kind of broken her body.  She says she’s getting too old for all this stuff but she really loves pretty flowers.

She took some pictures of some of the stuff she’s been doing so we’ll just do a little slide show for you.  Hemingway, how do we do that?

Just put your paw on that button and stand back.

Ok………

We hope you enjoyed our pictures of Mom’s flowers.

I just want to know when the catnip is going to grow.  I saw one container that had chocolate mint in it.  Doesn’t Mom know that’s not good for us?

I think she probably bought that for herself.

Oh……..well, I guess she can do that.

  1. Your mom has the most beautiful flowers! We’ve never heard of kitty fur for nesties but our meowmy is going to try that now!

We have some flowers now at our house too

  2. Oh what pretty flowers your Mom has to decorate your yard! My Mom loves petunias too….as for giving your spare furs to the birdies I think that’s a wonderful idea. Nice soft kitty fur makes a comfy spot for babies to grow up in!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. Your flowers are beautiful, boys. It seems to be all I can do to keep up with the mowing and weeds and poison ivy, so we don’t have any color around here.

Isn’t it neat (and kind of odd) that the birds aren’t afraid of the smell of cats on your fur that they use?
FYI, I think you have the captions on the petunia and pansy flowers mixed up. I love pansies, too. ❤

  4. Wait – you can grow Chocolate Mint ? We have catnip. spearmint, and lemon balm, but our human didn’t know about chocolate mint !

  5. doodz….yur gardin iz total lee awesum….{ we closed R eyez on de burd houz foto } yur mom haz done a grate job !!! 🙂 🙂 N pleez ta tell her we said happee momz day thiz sunday ~~~ ♥♥♥

  6. I would love to see a birdie nest with your fluffyness in it! How cozy for the little ones to arrive there. We have a birdy nest right outside our bedroom window and they sing me to sleep and say hello in the morning. I’m really enjoying that but Mr B, not so much. I’m about in the same boat as mom with the gardening aches and pains. One day of gardening equaled two days with a heating pad 😀 LOL
    Everything looks so pretty though!

    1. Mom loves pretty flowers but she does hurt afterwards. She says so far it’s still worth it. How neat to have a birdie nest so near. Mom loves hearing the birds sing in the morning. Have a super day!

Purrs, meows, barks, chirps and human comments are greatly appreciated. We love hearing from our readers.
